A Return He Never Saw Coming

Samantha sighed and squeezed Adam's hand as she stood outside the door to the home of the father she never knew. "Adam....." she whimpered. "I can't....."

Adam sueezed her hand "Yes you can honey." he said as he reached to knock.

Samantha bit her lip, her free hand resting on her seven month pregnant baby bump.

"Coming "Shawn yelled before he answered the door "Hello can i help you?"

Samantha bit her lip. How do you explain to man that you're the daughter he never knew, or at least, you don't think he did. "Mr. Michaels," she began. "My name is Samantha, and I don't mean to intrude, but I have reason to believe you may be my father."

Shawn just stood there not sure what to say.

Samantha bit her lip and looked at the ground.

Shawn took a deep breath "Would you like to come in?" he asked softly "I think we need to talk."

Samantha nodded and looked back at Adam. "Stay with me?"

Adam nodded "Of course honey." he said as they walked inside.

Samantha kept hold of Adam's hand and walked in.

Adam squeezed her hand gently.
Shawn leaded them to the living room.

Samantha sighed and sat down.

Shawn sighed softly and sat down "So how did you come to the conclusion i might be your dad?" he asked softly.

Samantha pulled a picture out of her purse of her mother and Shawn taken a few weeks before she was born.

Shawn stared at the picture "Melissa." he whispered softly.

"that's my mother," Samantha said. "and apparently.....you."

Shawn nodded "Yeah thats me." he said softly.

Samantha nodded slowly.
