Is It Written In The Stars?

Samantha sat back on the bed staring at the script for Adam's latest role, Captain of the guards Radames is Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida. She paused for a moment when she came upon a certain piece of dialogue.

RADAMES

Give me your hand. I'm right here with you. There is another world waiting for us, Aida. I can feel it. The way I always knew there was a world beyond every bend in the Nile. Just waiting to be discovered.

AIDA

You will find me in that world?

RADAMES

If I have to search for a hundred lifetimes, I will find you again, Aida.

She read the passage aloud to herself a few times before she saw Adam coming out of the bathroom from his shower.

Adam smiled as he tossed his dirt clothes before walking into his and Samantha's room.

Samantha read over the passage again. She wondered if Adam loved her as much as Radames loved Aida.

Adam smiled as he saw her looking at the script "Hey songbird, so what do you think of the script?"

"I like it," Samantha said with a smile. "Adam, what Radames says to Aida in the final scene as their dying together, would you do the same for me?"

Adam smiled and kissed her "Of course songbird i'd do anything for you."

Samantha smiled and kissed him back. "I think I'm gonna go down to the theatre tomorrow, you still need your Aida."

Adam smiled "That would be great honey."

"You and me onstage together again," Samantha smiled before she chuckled softly. "and you'd get to sing to me while I'm dying again, only I don't come back this time."
